Domingas Pereira Soares, 91, passed on July 11th at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, a daughter of the Bartolomeu and Francisca (Pereira) Soares. She is survived by three children, Eugenia De Barros, Bartolomeu Soares and Domingas Pereira, six grandchildren, Maria Wedding, Bartolomeu Soares, John Resendes, Jovina Soares, Jeffrey Soares and Carlos Soares, eleven great grandchildren, Noah, Ezra, Jeffrey, Mila, Jordan, Jason, Ariana, Jeffrey, Djaniyla, Sennia and Analicia, a sister, Maria S. Barros and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Monday, July 15th at 8:15am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy Ave., Pawtucket, at 10:00am. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
